June is LGBTQ+ Awareness Month—a time to shine a light on the experiences, voices, and rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

This month is not only a celebration of identity and pride, but also a reminder of the ongoing journey towards visibility, safety, and mental wellness. It’s a time to honor the courage it takes to live openly and authentically, and to acknowledge the resilience of those who continue to advocate for acceptance and understanding.

At Pleasantville Therapy, we stand proudly with LGBTQ+ individuals and celebrate the beauty of living as your true self. We understand that members of the LGBTQ+ community often face unique and complex mental health challenges—from discrimination and stigma to struggles with self-acceptance and support.

That’s why we are deeply committed to providing affirming, compassionate care that honors every identity and lived experience. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, dealing with anxiety or depression, or simply seeking a space where you can feel seen and understood, our therapists are here to support you.

You deserve to feel safe, supported, and empowered. If you or someone you care about needs mental health resources or a listening ear, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You are not alone—and we are here for you.
