This workshop aims to help expectant grandparents get up to date on current best practices regarding baby care, to trouble shoot possible areas of generational conflict, and to provide a safe place for grandparents to air their fears, disappointments, and expectations before the baby arrives.

Points of conversation may include:

Should I visit at the hospital?

Should I ask to stay with the new family when they come home?

What is "normal" breastfeeding/ infant crying/ mother's mood?

What are the best ways to assist a new family?

Navigating the mind-shift from parent to grandparent.

What about holidays?

Co-grandparenting with a divorced spouse.

Workshops are facilitated by Katherine Whiteside, CPD:CBI and Dr. Rachel Lemonik.

Workshop fee is $40 per family.
