Alissa Lupu, RD
Registered Dietitian

About Me
I am a registered dietitian who has expertise in nutrition therapy for a wide variety of digestive diseases. As a dietitian, I prescribe certain diets with a goal of treating specific symptoms and conditions. If a serving size is listed in a meal plan, it is because it is necessary to limit an ingredient to improve a patient’s gastrointestinal symptoms. I encourage patients to take an intuitive eating approach. A meal plan should not be seen as a guideline for how much food to eat in a day. Meal plans are meant to make it easier to stick to a recommended diet.

My Approach

I specialize includes nutrition therapy for: IBS, Celiac Disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, esophageal disorders and cancers of the digestive tract.
